Join five international alumni for a panel discussion about their experiences working in the United States post-graduation.

Please join us for the 8th SEAS Lunar New Year Celebration-2018, which brings students, faculty, and staff together to share the new year spirit and food!

This year's event will take place on:

Friday, February 9, between 12-2 pm in the Ford Commons, DANA 1315.

Note: Earn food tickets by enjoying at least 3 of the fun activities listed below to sample the wonderful dishes prepared by volunteers. Be conscious of your sampling, so all are able to taste the food.

There will be a prize at the end for Spring Couplet!

Please join us on March 14 at 4pm in Dana 1040 for a DEI presentation by Julian Agyeman Ph.D. FRSA FRGS, a Professor of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning at Tufts University. He is the originator of the concept of ‘just sustainabilities,‘ the full integration of social justice and sustainability. A recognized expert and thought leader, he is one of the top 15 most highly cited US and Canadian urban planning faculty ranked by Google Scholar in 2018.

Please join us on Thursday, January 11 from 12:30-2:30pm in Ford Commons for a presentation by Allison Manswell, CookRoss Unconscious Bias facilitator and author of Listen In: Crucial Conversations about Race in the Workplace. This presentation will be the finale of the Unconscious Bias trainings for students, staff and faculty.

Food will be provided, so please join us in the Ford Commons on January 11 at 12:30pm for this dynamic presentation and interactive session. Again this session is open to the entire SEAS community so please join us!

Join us for a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion event Change It Up! this Friday June 23. 

Change It Up! brings bystander intervention skills to U-M for the purpose of building inclusive, respectful and safe communities. It is based on a nationally recognized four-stage bystander intervention model that helps individuals intervene in situations that negatively impact individuals, organizations, and the campus community. Change It Up! is offered broadly for University of Michigan faculty, staff and students.
