How is Michigan's School of Natural Resources addressing Ecosystem Management?

The University of Michigan's School of Natural Resources and the Environment is a leader in ecosystem management research and training through a series of interconnected strategies that are the core of the Ecosystem Management Initiative (EMI). EMI's primary objectives are to:

 

(1) Build the skills, knowledge and leadership capabilities of natural resource management practitioners and policy makers through programs in

(2) Provide practitioners with images of success that can be emulated in management through ecosystem management-related

(3) Develop a place - an Ecosystem Management crossroads - to facilitate interchange among practitioners, researchers and policy makers by coordinating and participating in
