The goal of this seminar is to stimulate a conversation on climate change and health by engaging faculty and students from across campus. Understanding and promoting the latest science surrounding climate change and health through this seminar will be a catalyst to the development of a collaborative research agenda.

The Earth and Environmental Sciences department is hosting a Smith Lecture on Friday January 27, featuring Dimitrios Zekkos, U-M Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is speaking on Robot-Enabled Research Effots to Promote Resiliency and Sustainability of Geo-Systems. A reception will be held following the lecture. This lecture is free and open to the public.

Join the Erb Institute for a talk titled "Modeling the Climate Change Challenge", presented by Massimo Tavoni. Massimo is an economist and a lead author for the 5th Assessment Report of the IPCC. His research focuses on building a behaviorally rich model for assessing climate change and energy policies.
