About
(she/her)
Lisa recently returned to the U-M SEAS Career Team on a temporary basis. She spent ten years leading the SEAS career office before launching her own green career coaching practice seven years ago.
Lisa has a natural resource management degree from U-M SEAS and is certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator.
She has spent twelve years working in various conservation roles at the National Wildlife Federation and has served on many hiring teams to know what employers look for when reviewing resumes and cover letters and when interviewing candidates. Lisa's various roles at NWF included leading the Great Lakes Wolf Program, endangered species policy work, collaborating with governments (including tribes) and grassroots groups to protect the Great Lakes, and collaborating with hunting and fishing groups to strengthen environmental protections at the state and national levels.
Lisa has a particular passion for supporting initiatives to promote diversity in the environmental field. In her spare time, she loves to play soccer, spend time in nature, and use her climate change advocacy training to make a difference for our planet.
