Seminar students will be able to inform and co-shape a "hackathon" type event on climate change education for the U-M community in March 2023, to develop recommendations toward a climate education action plan.

Students will (1) help prepare for the event by gathering information on existing U-M and other Universities' formal climate education efforts, as well as literature on best climate and sustainability practices, including for environmental justice education, (2) play various roles during the March 2023 event, and (3) assist with synthesizing insights into recommendations for U-M. As a result, students will contribute to making a difference on campus, learn about climate/sustainability education, and gain a variety of professional skills.
