All activities will take place within the Samuel T Dana Building on Central Campus in Ann Arbor unless otherwise noted.



Arrival & Departure Information

Train/Car/Plane Transportation

Ann Arbor is accessible by three primary modes of travel.


Please see this link for detailed Amtrak schedules to and from Ann Arbor.


Our address is 440 Church Street, Ann Arbor, MI. It’s important to note that the building is located several hundred yards and past two buildings, from the street address listed on the map.


On-street parking is very limited and is often restricted to two hour blocks.

Parking is available at the Palmer Commons Structure (University operated). Several City of Ann Arbor structures are also available.


The central airport serving our region is Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) 25 miles from Ann Arbor.

The Michigan Flyer provides regular, low cost bus service to and from downtown Ann Ann Arbor


This link summarizes the accommodation options available to you on or near central campus. You are encouraged to choose lodging within walking distance of the Dana Building (440 Church Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48109)

Note: Plan to arrive at the Dana Building on Central Campus by 10:00am on 11/2. There are two entrances to the Dana Building. SEAS Representatives will be available to direct you at either entrance.

All events will occur within the building.

Lastly, the University of Michigan has set an ambitious goal to reduce campus waste sent to landfills by 40% by the year 2025. You can read more about these and other efforts here.

The school for Environment & Sustainability are campus leaders in this effort. This will be a Zero Waste program held in conjunction with the Dana Building Compost Crew. Please bring a reusable mug and be mindful of the composting options throughout the duration of the program.
