To fulfill the fieldwork requirement, I did an internship with the Student Conservation Association in North Cascades National Park. Upon arriving in Washington State for the internship, I fell in love with the mountains and the West Coast at first sight. Advice

Don’t worry about your major, and don’t worry about trying to have your life figured out by the time you graduate. One of the greatest joys I’ve had with a 10-year career post-degree is realizing that there’s so much more to learn on the job. No employer is expecting you to be fully formed out of undergraduate school.
