Ecological Design Professor of Practice

The School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) at the University of Michigan seeks applicants for a Professor of Practice to contribute to the Landscape Architecture, Master of Landscape Architecture Program and SEAS Doctoral Programs. A distinguished record of professional practice that exemplifies application of ecological design in landscape architecture is required. A professional degree in Landscape Architecture or related design field also is required. Rank will be commensurate with experience. We prefer to fill this position at the rank of Professor of Practice or Associate Professor of Practice. This position can be filled as a 50 - 100 % appointment. We seek a faculty colleague who will contribute to teaching, advising, and service in our SEAS faculty community. This person must meaningfully contribute to the University of Michigan’s leadership in landscape architecture ecological design teaching; to advising of students in SEAS professional M.L.A. and M.S. programs; and to collaborative opportunities for teaching and service in SEAS and throughout the University.
