Trump 2.0: Environment and Energy Policy Developments

Please join the Law School's Environmental & Energy Law Program for a pop-up panel on "Trump 2.0: Environment and Energy Policy Developments," featuring Debbie Chizewer, Managing Attorney at Earthjustice; Alexandra Klass, James G. Degnan Professor of Law and Co-director of the Environmental and Energy Law Program at Michigan Law; and Jonathan Martel, Partner and Co-chair of the Environmental Practice Group at Arnold & Porter.
The first 60 days of the second Trump administration have seen significant developments in environmental and energy law and policy, triggered in large part by a flurry of executive orders. These executive branch actions raise important questions about the near-term and possibly long-term future of renewable energy development, standards for toxic pollution, funding for state agencies and programs, climate policy, the environmental review process, electric vehicles, environmental justice, and more. Please join us for a discussion of these developments with a panel of experts in environmental and energy law.
This event is free and open to the public. Please distribute this announcement widely.
