Save the dates! Join us this fall for the University of Michigan Climate Week 2025 (UMCW25), a series of engaging and innovative events focused on climate action and sustainability.
UMCW25 will bring together the U-M community and local and state climate leaders for collaboration, engagement and collective action—elevating just climate solutions and giving us momentum and hope for the future. Together, we'll create bold solutions for our planet's most pressing problems. The world's environmental challenges aren't hitting pause, and neither are we.
Efforts to develop cross-campus programming are currently underway. A full list of events will be announced soon.
Early programming highlights include:
- The School for Environment and Sustainability's 23rd Annual Wege Lecture on Sustainability featuring former U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Jennifer M. Granholm on September 30, 2025. Ticketing information and details will be announced soon.
- EarthFest on September 30, 2025, which celebrates sustainability initiatives across U-M and surrounding communities while providing an inclusive platform to educate and engage the campus community on opportunities to support sustainability and environmental justice at U-M and in our daily lives.
- Harvest Fest on September 28, 2025. This is a celebration of U-M's student-driven food initiatives, emphasizing sustainability, social justice, and creativity.
