Alum Paul Coseo named "Educator of the Year"

Paul Coseo (MLA '04) has been named Educator of the Year by the Arizona Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (AZASLA). The award recognizes an educator dedicated to promoting art and design's ability to advance environmental stewardship.

In addition to his MLA degree, Coseo earned his Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from University of Michigan's Taubman College in 2013. He currently is an Assistant Professor and Sustainability Scientist at Arizona State University’s (ASU) The Design School. His work examines the intersection of urban climate and design through ecological and social justice lenses.
