University of Michigan students in the “Leadership for Turning Climate Anxiety into Action” seminar at SEAS organized the Advancing Climate Education event, which brought together around 100 U-M students, faculty and staff interested in learning about how climate anxiety can be turned into action.
A new study published online April 5 in the journal Science finds that agricultural diversification comes with significant benefits, and very few negative effects. SEAS Associate Professor Jennifer Blesh is co-author and part of the leadership team for this study, in which a team of 58 researchers brought together data from 24 research projects representing a total of 2,655 working farms on five continents.
The Biden Administration has issued new limits on vehicle emissions designed to speed the adoption of electric vehicles. U-M experts, including Liesl Eichler Clark and Gregory Keoleian from SEAS, are available to discuss the significance of the new guidelines.
