Spatial Analysis & Ecosystem Classification Training and Workshops

The skills needed to effectively manage natural resources have changed dramatically over the past two decades, and the rate of change will likely accelerate in coming years. For example, many important sources of current knowledge, including conservation biology, landscape ecology, and collaborative resource management, are developing rapidly. It will take time for newly-educated professionals to assume leadership positions. Consequently, it is essential to develop the capabilities of individuals already working in the field or holding leadership positions. Mid-career professional education, in the form of training sessions or workshops, can help forge capacity in all sectors that will enable agencies, organizations and firms to deal with 21st Century conservation challenges.
