Background

Learning from Experience: A National Resource for Collaboration and Partnerships is being developed through a partnership between the U.S. Forest Service, the U.S. Department of the Interior, and The University of Michigan. It links from the Forest Service's new Partnership Resource Center.

This site can be used by anyone interested in learning about and improving collaborative efforts in natural resource management. We expect that inter-organizational partnerships and multiparty collaboration will be an important feature of resource management in the 21st century and hope that this website can serve as both a research and educational tool to facilitate more effective collaboration.
