Water Resource Economics

Description
Water Resource Economics is designed to complement EAS 570 by applying the theoretical and empirical methods of microeconomics and natural resource economics to topics in water resource policy and management. The specific objectives are to provide students with:
- additional experience in applying the basic elements of microeconomics,
- an understanding of the role of economics in promoting river restoration and endangered fish protection, and
- familiarity with U.S. water resource institutions, especially those in the American West.
