Sydni Miller
About
Sydni began with the University of Michigan in January 2023. She provides career counseling to students in Environmental Policy and Planning, Ecosystem Science and Management, & Geospatial Data Sciences specialization tracks.
Sydni began her career journey at Iowa State University, serving as a Leadership Education and Development Advisor, while completing her master’s degree in Higher Education - Student Affairs. In this role, she realized her passion for helping students map out their educational and career goals, with an emphasis on serving underrepresented and marginalized student populations.
After graduate school, Sydni went on to the University of Toledo as a Program Coordinator for the Office of Multicultural Student Success. She also has experience advising high school students on their college and career plans following graduation.
Sydni's professional passions include professional and personal development, mentorship, and helping to build a sense of community amongst students. In her free time, Sydni enjoys spending time with family and friends, enjoying concerts, and either playing, coaching, or watching basketball.
