Friday March 22, 2024
|
2:00 pm
Dr. Michael Davidson, Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Diego, will discuss the complex relationship between sustainability models and institutions. Dr. Davidson will introduce his research, forthcoming in PNAS, which sheds light on the relationship between natural, engineered, and socio-economic systems in fostering sustainability outcomes.
Dr. Davidson's comparative synthesis of three sustainability models—Integrated Assessment Modeling (IAM), Engineering-Economic Optimization (EEO), and Agent-Based Modeling (ABM)—will provide insights into the evolving landscape of sustainability.
Light refreshments will be provided! Your optional RSVP is helpful for planning.
