Who is Responsible for Extreme Flooding? Seeking Climate Justice for Pakistan

One third of Pakistan is under water. Although it has contributed less than 1% of global greenhouse gas emissions, Pakistan is currently suffering the extreme impacts of climate disaster. The Environmental Law and Policy Program, the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, the Environmental Law Society, the Muslim Law Students Association, and the South Asian Law Students Association invite you to learn about this striking example of global climate injustice with Professor Nadia Ahmad of Barry University School of Law and Professor Hamid Khan from the University of Michigan Law School. Tuesday, November 15 at noon. No registration needed. Lunch will be provided.
Additional co-sponsors include: the Center for International and Comparative Law, the Graham Sustainability Institute, the Program in the Environment, School for Environment and Sustainability, and the Weiser Diplomacy Center at the Ford School of Public Policy.
