Envisioning ‘Āina Momona
Our team's project has been focused on collaboration and support with Sust'āinable Molokai, a Native Hawaiian-led non-profit, on land back and food sovereignty projects. Our first work stream involves land back research and analyses to support pathways toward land reclamation informed by land use planning documents from the community. The second work stream focuses on creating a food resiliency hub to enhance food security and revive traditional foodways through completion of a community needs assessment, site evalutions, and development of landscape designs for the food hub.
