Michigan at a Climate Crossroads: Strategies for Guiding the State in a Carbon-Constrained World (2006)
State of Michigan
Project Description
This project will examine and recommend viable strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Michigan. The Center for Sustainable Systems research team will perform a rigorous economic and emission-reduction-potential analysis for a set of policy-driven and technology-based greenhouse gas-reduction strategies. Stakeholder forums will be used to build consensus on the most economically, environmentally and politically viable strategies, which then will be forwarded to the executive and legislative branches of the state government for consideration.
