Elizabeth Ludwig-Borycz
About
Dr. Liz Ludwig-Borycz is a postdoctoral research fellow working with Dr. Arun Agrawal at the University of Michigan interested in exploring the complex interplay between climate change, food systems, and health. Liz was trained as a nutritional epidemiologist and has her masters in public health in global health epidemiology. Her Ph.D. work focused on sustainable diets among nutritionally vulnerable populations in the US during and prior to the COVID-19 pandemic within a health equity framework. Her research also extends to food systems in LMICs and how they can support women and children's health. Additional interests are in noncommunicable disease prevention through intervening in the food system in ways that prioritize justice and equity.
