From 2016 – 2021, SEAS embarked on a five year journey in alignment with the University’s DEI initiative to develop annual strategic plans with the overacrching goal of embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion into every process and structure at SEAS. As the University transitions to DEI 2.0, we move into the next iteration of developing a new strategic plan that envisions the future of DEI at SEAS. This will remain a living plan informed by an iterative. Every year we will assess the Strategic Objectives and Action Items to determine their relevance within the School based on feedback from our students, staff, and faculty to create focus areas and programs to best meet the DEI needs of our School.

DEI 1.0 Summary Report
This report explores the DEI accomplishments, demographic data, and current climate at SEAS. The goal of this summary report is to show the progress we have made as a community during our first phase of integrating DEI into our community, but also the continued work that lies ahead in order to provide a more holistic and transparent approach to DEI.
