Moushumi Khan
About
Ms. Moushumi Khan is a leader in international and private sector development, risk mitigation, and emerging markets. Most recently, Ms. Khan served as the United States Alternate Executive Director on the Board of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), where she represented U.S. interests and promoted opportunities for American businesses. Her work focused on advancing regional infrastructure development, facilitating climate financing, spearheading private sector engagement, and contributing to the evolution of multilateral institutions. At ADB, she enhanced governance and shaped policies to address economic and environmental challenges. She also served as a Senior Advisor at the Asia Group in Washington DC. Ms. Khan is advising Quest Water Global on their growth strategy, particularly in Asia. She is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute and a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Ms. Khan earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, and a Bachelor’s degree in Critical Social Thought from Mount Holyoke College. In addition to her professional interests, she is passionate about building community and bridging differences.
