Transformations are common. Transformations towards sustainability are rare. The course will use a combination of case studies of past transformations, conversations with leaders working towards transformations today, and peer learning to support strategy development for social transformations.

This course will be offered as two different 7-week sessions - the second part of Fall 2023 and for a similar time in the second half of Winter 2024. In the intervening period, students will work on projects with real-world partners to develop a draft strategy for transformation in a defined area of interest. In winter 2024, we will meet to finalize their transformation strategies as a final paper for the course.  Students are not required to complete both sessions.  They may opt to only enroll in the Fall B session.
