This studio course introduces site design that is premised in the integration of ecological and aesthetic principles of sustainable design.  The experience introduces students to the design of ecologically beneficial and aesthetically engaging landscapes over a range of scales.  Strong design foundations will be drawn from the fields of landscape ecology, urban ecology, urban design, and landscape aesthetics.
