  • IAMS Requirement (fulfilled by EAS 531 & EAS 687)** (required for students admitted Fall 2025 and before)
  • EAS 701(6) Ecological Design and Planning [Capstone: Theme-Based Master’s Project]

*Courses marked (f) are foundational courses and do not count towards the 44 credit hours required by Rackham Graduate School.
** IAMS course can double-count with Core requirements, but we do not double-count the actual credits (required for students admitted Fall 2025 and before)
Any petitions to substitute or waive a requirement must be approved by the appropriate faculty and submitted to the SEAS Student Center.
All courses must be taken on a graded basis, if taught for a grade.
