Sustainability Across the Music Industry: Artists, Labels, Touring, and More
Join fellow members of the SEAS community for an Alumni Master Chat with Eleanor Anderson (MS '25): "Sustainability Across the Music Industry: Artists, Labels, Touring, and More"
About Eleanor:
Eleanor is currently the Director of the Music Sustainability Association. Eleanor's passion lies in applying her expertise in behavioral economics to promote sustainability among the public. That’s why she’s enthusiastic about working in the music industry, where she is able to leverage the influence musicians have in shaping culture.
"I’ve always been obsessed with what drives human behavior: why people make decisions, what shapes their values, and how culture influences action. With a background in behavioral economics and psychology from UChicago, I’ve spent years digging into people analytics, risk aversion, and libertarian paternalism. But data alone doesn’t create change — storytelling, culture, and communication do."
