SEAS Dean Emeritus Bill Johnson, FASLA, the founder of JJR and a highly influential landscape architect, was awarded the 2020 Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) Medal during a virtual awards ceremony held April 6, 2021. Also during the ceremony, Master of Landscape Architecture graduate Lauren Marshall was featured in a tribute video for the Sustainable Urban Forests Coalition, which was honored with the 2020 Landscape Architecture Foundation Founders Award. Both videos are below. The LAF Medal and Founders Award are the highest LAF honors bestowed on individuals and organizations that have made a significant and sustained contribution to LAF's mission of supporting the preservation, improvement, and enhancement of the environment.
