Professor Ming Xu has been elected president of the International Society for Industrial Ecology for a two-year term beginning in 2023. The Society promotes the use of industrial ecology in research, education, policy, community development, and industrial practices. Another SEAS faculty member, Professor Greg Keoleian, is past president of the Society and served in the role from 2011 to 2012.
