MLA Student Neha Srinivasan earns Impact Award at 2019 Galaxy Sustainability Exchange
Neha Srinivasan (MLA ’20) and a team of professionals she worked with from Baltimore, Maryland, earned the Impact Award at the 2019 Galaxy Sustainability Exchange last month. The award recognized how their multimedia case, “Reclaiming Wood, Lives, and Communities: How do we turn a waste stream into an asset that revitalizes cities?”, has been used to train others in analyzing socio-environmental systems to enact systems-wide positive change. The case study details their effort to link social and economic systems in the city in the fight against urban blight, poverty, underutilized resources, and climate change. Congratulations, Neha!
