SEAS alumna Kerry Duggan named a 2022 Notable Leader in Sustainability
Congratulations to Kerry Duggan (MS '06), a graduate of the School for Environment and Sustainability, who was named a 2022 Notable Leader in Sustainability by Crain's Detroit Business.
The inaugural list features sustainability leaders who were nominated based on their career accomplishments, track record of success in the field, and effectiveness of their efforts, according to the publication.
Duggan, who was called "a force of nature” by U.S. Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves, is the CEO of SustainabiliD and the founding director of the SEAS Sustainability Clinic in Detroit. She previously worked at the U.S. Department of Energy as stakeholder engagement director for the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy and as a liaison to the city of Detroit. Before leaving the Obama Administration, Duggan served as deputy director of policy for the Office of the Vice President.
