University of Michigan student Yumna Dagher has been named a 2025 Rhodes Scholar, one of 32 Americans chosen for scholarships to Oxford University. Dagher is a recent graduate who double-majored in English and the Environment through the Program in the Environment, jointly managed between U-M’s College of Literature, Science and the Arts (LSA) and the School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS).
Dagher says she plans to pursue graduate degrees in both nature, society and environmental governance and in visual, material and museum anthropology.
During her time as an undergraduate at U-M, Dagher worked at the Campus Farm and led the Sustainable Food Program
