Julius Buzzard is Executive Director of Growing Hope, a food sovereignty organization in Ypsilanti Michigan working at the intersection of land, policy, and community power. He partners with farmers, educators, and policymakers to build systems rooted in racial justice and self-determination, and this semester he’s co-lecturing Food Literacy for All; bringing that grassroots lens straight into the classroom.
