Miki Tsuchiya
Miki is a PhD student at the School for Environment and Sustainability, with an interest in decarbonization policy and technology deployment. She has extensive professional experience as an energy consultant at McKinsey & Company and as a project manager for Japanese government, where she engaged in various private and public project development for energy transition. In her PhD, she is focusing on quantifying the benefit and cost of decision-making in technology deployment and its impact on decarbonization. Her research integrates techno-economic analysis with various methods to quantify environmental and health costs, such as life-cycle analysis, user data analysis, geospatial analysis, and system modeling.
