Get ready for your visit to Admitted Student Visit Day! Regardless of your starting point, we've provided comprehensive directions below to help you reach us easily. We're looking forward to greeting you soon!

How to get here

Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is the closest international, full-service airport, about 25 miles/30 minutes from campus. 

The Michigan Flyer shuttle service operates a regular and cost-effective way to move between Ann Arbor and DTW.

Amtrak provides daily service to Ann Arbor.

Megabus is a low-cost bus transportation option if you are traveling between cities. (The Ann Arbor stop is at the South State Street Park + Ride.)

Greyhound also services Ann Arbor.

Please visit the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority to check local bus routes and schedules.

The following directions lead to the Palmer Parking Structure. For more information on parking, please see the instructions below.

From I-94 (East or West) 
Exit 177 - State Street:

• Head north on State Street.
• Continue for approximately 2.5 miles.
• Turn right onto Hill Street.
• Continue onto Washtenaw Avenue.
• The Palmer Parking Structure will be on your left after a few blocks.

From US-23 (North or South)
Exit 37B - Washtenaw Avenue West:

• Merge onto Washtenaw Avenue West towards Ann Arbor.
• Continue on Washtenaw Avenue for approximately 3.5 miles.
• The Palmer Parking Structure will be on your right.

From M-14 (Eastbound)
Merge onto US-23 South:

• Follow signs for I-94 East/US-23 South.
• Use the right lane to take the exit toward Washtenaw Avenue West.
• Follow the directions from US-23 above.

From M-14 (Westbound)
Exit 3 - Main Street:

• Turn left onto N Main Street going south.
• Turn left onto Depot Street.
• Continue as it curves into Fuller Road.
• Turn right onto E Huron Street.
• Turn left onto Fletcher Street.
• Turn right onto Washtenaw Avenue.
• The Palmer Parking Structure will be on your left.

Parking Instructions

Visitor parking for Admitted Student Visit Day is available at the Palmer Drive Structure located at Palmer Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48109. 

Please note: If you plan on using a parking voucher, which you will receive once you check in to Visit Day, the voucher is only valid at the Palmer Drive Structure.
