Congratulations on being recommended for admission to the School for Environment and Sustainability! This is a major milestone in your journey at SEAS and the University of Michigan. Here is what it means to be recommended for admission. If you have any questions regarding your admission to SEAS, please contact our admissions coaches via [email protected].

Being recommended for admission is the first step towards finalizing your admission to the SEAS master’s program. We, in the SEAS admissions office, have submitted your recommendation of admission to the Rackham Graduate School for final approval. The Rackham Graduate School is currently reviewing your academic credentials to confirm the accuracy of your transcripts. If you have not done so yet, please have your official transcripts sent to the Rackham Graduate School to expedite the confirmation of your admission to SEAS.

Once the Rackham Graduate School has completed this process, you will be officially and fully admitted to SEAS and you will be able to confirm your enrollment via Wolverine Access. When notified, Please log into Wolverine Access using your U-M Friend Account to accept or decline your admission offer. The deadline to submit your decision is April 15th, 2025.

Being recommended for admission is the first step towards finalizing your admission to the SEAS master’s program. We, in the SEAS admissions office, have submitted your recommendation of admission to the Rackham Graduate School for final approval. The Rackham Graduate School is currently reviewing your academic credentials to confirm the accuracy of the information submitted with your application materials. This includes:

1- Meeting Rackham’s required academic credentials from non-U.S institutions

2- Verifying the self-reported GPA submitted in your application

3- Meeting Rackham’s English proficiency requirements or qualifying for an exemption

If you have not done so yet, please have your official transcripts sent to the Rackham Graduate School to expedite the confirmation of your admission to SEAS. Until Rackham has completed this verification process, your admission to SEAS is not final.

After confirming your enrollment, the Rackham Graduate School will contact you with instructions regarding obtaining your I-20. Because of the time needed to process your I-20, we recommend that you confirm your decision to enroll as early as possible.

Please see this page for information regarding required documents and financial resources to receive your I-20 from Rackham. Any questions related to immigration can be directed to Rackham via [email protected].
