The University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS), along with Sheila Schueller, a lecturer at SEAS and the faculty lead for digital learning innovation, are among numerous recipients of the Distinguished Partnership Award for Community-Engaged Service given by Michigan State University (MSU).
The award recognizes individuals and organizations for “empowering local communities in natural resource conservation efforts through the Michigan Conservation Stewards Program (CSP).”
A central tenet of the CSP, of which Schueller is a guest lecturer, is to foster lasting partnerships between MSU and local organizations and agencies that share a desire to promote and sustain conservation efforts in their local areas.
