Applied Social Issues Internship
Description
GOAL
To encourage research that is conducted in cooperation with a community or government organization, public interest group or other not-for-profit entity that will benefit directly from the project.
ELIGIBILITY
Undergraduate seniors (rising seniors included), graduate students, and first-year post-doctorates in psychology, applied social science, and related disciplines are eligible to apply. Applicant must be an SPSSI member.
AWARDS
Awards range from $300 to $2,500 to cover research costs, community organizing, and, in unusual cases, a stipend for the intern.
