Funding resources exist outside of the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) to help SEAS students finance their education. These financial aid opportunities extend across a broad range of interests and apply to both domestic and international students. The lists below include some of the best opportunities available. In addition, the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program may be an additional funding opportunity to pursue. Though competitive, it supports fellowships for outstanding graduate students who are pursuing full-time, research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM), including education.
