GSI - School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS)

Description

Graduate Student Instructors (GSIs) at the University of Michigan are considered members of the community of scholars. GSIs contribute to our teaching enterprise by working as partners with the faculty members who develop and supervise course offerings. SEAS only accepts applications from current SEAS students who are in good academic standing. Students are encouraged to apply for positions in which they are qualified, both within SEAS as well as across campus (other departments will have other posting windows and processes). Appointments are made on a term-by-term basis and typically require between 9.5-20 hours of work per week.

At this time, all winter 2023 GSI positions at SEAS are in the process of being filled. Check back in February 2023 for fall 2023 GSI opportunities

Detailed job descriptions for other departmental GSI position(s) can be found at carrers.umich.edu
