Apply for the Michigan SEAS certificate by December 1 to start in January 2027. Application opens September 1, 2026. 

No GRE or letters of recommendation required.


As part of your application, you will need: 

  • An official undergraduate transcript from an accredited institution with a 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA
  • Statement of purpose: A concise (two pages, doubled spaced) statement detailing your professional goals and interest in the program
  • Personal statement: A one-page (approx. 500-word) statement discussing how your background and experiences have motivated you to apply to the program
  • Resume of professional experience
  • Application fee ($90 international/$75 domestic)
