Who We Are
Our Global Center brings together a highly qualified science leadership team with expertise in both research and practice related to climate change, ecosystem monitoring and modeling, and transboundary water science and governance at multiple scales. Combined with advisory support from diverse transboundary organizations, this interdisciplinary team is poised to make significant regional and global contributions to knowledge and practice at the science-policy interface.

Six Nations of the Grand River
Six Nations of the Grand River is the most populous First Nation in Canada and the only First Nation community that includes all six Haudenosaunee nations. As a member of the Mohawk Nation, Dr. Martin-Hill will provide a direct point of contact with this community throughout the project.
Advisory Board
Our Center is guided by an Advisory Board (see link at left) comprised of globally recognized experts on a diverse set of topics including Indigenous affairs, climate change, water resources management, governance structures and policy. The Advisory Board will inform the Center’s research directions and engagement activities. The Advisory Board will actively analyze the Global Center’s functions, approaches, and processes, and assist in creating scalable knowledge to be adapted to other transnational watersheds facing similar challenges. The Advisory Board will be co-chaired by Jon W. Allan and Dr. Chris McLaughlin (see profiles above).
