The School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) builds on more than a century of leadership in environmental science, management, policy and design at the University of Michigan. SEAS programs train leaders to tackle the unprecedented challenges of the modern era. The event is structured similarly to other career fairs, but participating employers are hiring for positions with an environmental and sustainability focus.

This event will take place on February 13, 2026 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at Michigan League (911 N. University Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48109).

Employer registration: November 17 - January 30*

*Priority will be given to employers that are currently hiring at the graduate and undergraduate levels for full-time positions and summer internships.

Student registration: December 1 - February 12*

*The Green Career Fair is open to all University of Michigan students. Your MCard is required for entry. Registration is open on SEAS Career Link, but not required for students to attend.

For Students

>> What is a "green" career fair?
The event is structured similarly to other career fairs, but participating employers are hiring for positions with an environmental and sustainability focus.

>> Should I participate in the fairs if I am not currently seeking a job or internship?
Yes, the Green Career Fair provide a critical opportunity to develop professional networking connections and to learn about employers that may interest you in the future.

>> Why should I consider a "green" job?
With increasing concerns about climate change and environmental degradation in contemporary society, there is a demand for environmentally conscious careers. Applying your skills to an environmental position can provide fulfilling experiences that encourage sustainable thinking in future career paths and benefit the environment as a whole.

>> Do I need to register for the Green Career Fair?
Pre-registration is available, but not required. This fair is open to all U of M students. Your U-M ID is required upon entry.

>> How will I know which employers are participating in the Green Career Fair?
1. Log in to SEAS Career Link
2. Click "Events" and navigate to the On-Campus Green Career Fair event
3. Click "Employers" tab to see a list of the employers attending

>> How should I prepare for the Green Career Fair?

For Employers

>> What are the benefits of recruiting at the SEAS Green Career Fair?
All baccalaureate, masters, and PhD students across the University of Michigan are invited to attend the in-person event, so you will have a broad range of candidates to recruit.

 *The SEAS and PitE programs are interdisciplinary, so our students study a wide range of issues including environmental law and policy, landscape architecture, environmental justice, sustainable energy systems, and so much more. No matter your industry, there is a SEAS or PitE student who will fit the position that you want to fill. >> What will it cost to register for the Green Career Fair for 2026 (employers)?

All prices are listed below: 

> Non-profit: $90

> Government agencies: $110

> Private companies: $125

>> Where do I park when I arrive on campus?

All employers can park in the Palmer Drive Parking Structure (Palmer Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48104). Upon arrival at the Michigan League, employers will receive a parking validation code to scan as you leave the parking structure after the fair.

>> What if I need transportation to get from the airport (DTW) to U of M's campus?

Taxi and shuttle information can be found here.

>> Will I have access to WiFi at the event?

Yes. Registered employers will be sent important day-of information that will include WiFi connection information.

>> If my availability changes (due to illness, etc.), what should I do?

We understand that urgent situations may arise, please contact [email protected] immediately if you have a change in your schedule.

>> If I need to book a hotel, what are my options?

Below is a list of hotels that are located on campus. All are within walking distance of the Michigan League.
