Michael R. Moore Fellowship Fund for Environmental Economics and Policy
Description:
This memorial fellowship was created in memory of Dr. Michael Moore, Professor of
Environmental Economics, who died unexpectedly on May 11, 2025. Recipients will
demonstrate a genuine commitment to serving the SEAS community, grounded in
respect, collaboration, and care for their peers. They will exemplify leadership through
action and embody SEAS values not only in their achievements, but also in how they
carry themselves and contribute to the lives of others. The Fund honors students who
advance impact and sustainability by living these values in meaningful and authentic
ways as Professor Moore himself did.
Eligibility:
One (1) award of at least $5,500 for current returning and graduating students enrolled in SEAS
Selection Criteria:
The Michael R. Moore Fellowship Fund for Environmental Economics and Policy will be
used to provide fellowships for SEAS graduate students pursuing studies in
environmental economics and policy.
Application Process:
Students interested in being considered for this scholarship must complete the following
application link https://tinyurl.com/buvejxyr; no later than 9:00 AM on Monday, March 1st, 2027. The SEAS Scholarship Committee, including a faculty member in the environmental economics field, will review applications and select one (1) recipient for the scholarship. Once decisions have been made, applicants will be notified of their status. Non-compliant submissions will not be reviewed.
