APPLICATION DEADLINE: SEAS Internal deadline- 9:00 AM on November 10, 2025

PURPOSE: The Michigan Garden Club will fund up to two (2) $1,500 scholarships for two SEAS students. These fellowships are designated for students studying Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Botany, Forestry, Conservation, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Environmental Concerns, Land Management, and/or related fields. The Foundation's goals are "to serve, educate, stimulate, and enlighten young people in the wise use of our natural resources and the preservation of our natural beauty."

SELECTION CRITERIA: Permanent residents of Michigan, Good academic standing, financial need, and character are considered. MS/MLA students, US Citizens only. 

NOMINATION PROCESS: Students interested in being nominated must have a faculty member complete the application link https://tinyurl.com/y5achgft no later than 9:00 AM on Monday, November 10, 2025. Please provide enough information in the statement so that the SEAS Scholarship Committee can compare and rank the nominees (2-3 paragraphs, MAX -- no more than half a page).
