About the Urban Sustainability & Justice Community Fellowship
The Urban Sustainability & Justice Faculty Community launched in January 2025 and invites one community leader to collaborate on community-driven climate and sustainability solutions. Community fellows spend time in residence engaging with U-M and Detroit partners, sharing insights, and advancing projects that strengthen environmental justice and community resilience. Through their lived experience and leadership, fellows bridge academic and community perspectives to foster partnerships that support more just and sustainable futures.
